Knute Lee
Mr. Knute Lee, died at his home four miles east of Argusville, N.D., on October 26th, at 1:17 p.m., from hemorrhage of the brain. He is survived by his widow and seven children.

Knute Lee got sick on Wednesday morning, October 23, at about seven o’clock, he said he had an awful headache. The doctor was called and came about ten o’clock. It seemed as if he went to sleep in afternoon. Helga gave him some medicine at 4:10 o’clock, and at seven she was going to give him medicine again, but she couldn’t wake him. She went to her mother and said: “I can’t wake papa.” The mother tried to help her but they could not wake him and he slept till he died on Saturday.

All the children were with him when he died.

The funeral was held Wednesday October 30th at 2 o’clock.

Knute Lee used to work for Olson in Brandon many years ago. His wife is from Holmes City. Her name used to be Maria Strandwold, a daughter of Hans Strandwold. She is a cousin of Mrs. E.E. Lobeck.
