Graveside Memorial Services for Myrtis Thesline Bjorklund, 77, a resident of Salinas, California, formerly of Farwell, Minnesota, were held at Trysil Cemetery, Farwell on Saturday, April 3, 1993 with Pastor Ron Nielson of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Lowry, officiating.
Mrs. Bjorklund died Wednesday, January 20, 1993, after a long illness.
Myrtis Bjorklund was born in Farwell on May 18, 1915, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Nygaard.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Harley (Faye) McGarrity of Salinas, CA and Mrs. Ronald (Jan) Conrady of Laurence Ville, GA; one son Sidney Bjorklund of Mount Washington, KY, five grandchildren; two sisters: Jennie Anderson of Mound; and Harriet Anderson of Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sigurd; two brothers Elmo and Kermit, and her sister.
