Alice Hilma Vee, 85, died December 18, 2007 at Glenwood Lakewview Good Samaritan Center.
Alice was born to Soren and Helga (Hanson) Vee on August 19, 1922 in Farwell. She grew up on a farm near Kensington, where she lived most of her adult life, assisting her two brothers, Olger and Malvin, with the farm operation. After their deaths, Alice sold the farm and in 1991 she moved to Glenhaven Apartments in Glenwood, where she resided until 1999 when she moved to the Glenwood Lakeview Good Samaritan Center.
Alice enjoyed gardening, cooking, embroidering, quilt making, playing cards and having her nieces, nephews and other family and friends visit.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mark Warter of Loveland, CO; Mike Warter of Fargo, ND; Dorinda O’marro of Mapleton, ND; Karen Peschel of Wahpeton, ND; Sharon Wolf of Wichita, KS and Sandy Mientka of Lincoln, NE.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Soren and Helga; brothers, Olger and Malvin; and her sister, Doris Warter.
Funeral services for Alice were held December 22 at Nora Lutheran Church near Farwell with Pastor Elaine Leione officiating. Interment was at Trysil Cemetery near Farwell.
