Last Rites Held for Jonart Jorgenson
Funeral services for Jonart E Jorgenson, 63, lifetime resident of the
Lowry area, were held at 2pm on Wednesday, August 26, 1970 from the
Hoplin Funeral Chapel in Glenwwod, Minnesota with the Rev Russell Dudero
officiating. Mrs Herman Engebretson was the organist and accompanied
the soloist, Mrs Floyd Anderson.
Pallbearers were Clifford Mortenson, Russel Kvam, Ronald Kvam, Gilman
Anderson, James Anderson and Howard Lysen. Interment was in the Trysil
Lutheran Cemetery, Farwell, Minnesota.
Mr Jorgenson died at home in rural Lowry on August 23.
Jonart E Jorgenson was born in Ben Wade township, Pope county,
Minnesota on May 18, 1907, son of the late George and Maret Joret
Jorgenson. He grew up in the Lowry area. He was never married.
He is survived by one sister and three brothers. They are Mary and
Henry of Lowry, Martin Edwin of Glenwood and Iver of Alexandria,
Minnesota.
