It is our sad duty this week to report the death of Carl Aasen, son of John Aasen of this township, which occured Tuesday, Dec. 27, the cause of death being consumption, with which he had been suffering for some time. He had been married only a half a year. He was a thorough Christian and his greatest wish was to get all, especially the young, to become true Christians and live a God-like life. Openly opposing many evils, he was respected for it and had no enemies, which was shown at the funeral which occured on Saturday from the Norwegian Lutheran church, Rev. Mr. Hansell officiating.
