Last Rites Held For Inga Peterson At Trysil Church

Funeral services for Inga Peterson were held on Monday, Aug 2, at the Trysil Lutheran church at 2:00 o’clock PM.  Priscilla Myhr sang “Oh Happy Day” and “Beyond the Sunset.”

The Pallbearers were Oliver Gulbranson, Emil Gulbranson, George Olson, Victor Skoglund, Louie Larson and Oscar Nygaard.

Interment was made in the church cemetery.

Inga  Peterson passed away Wednesday, July 28, at the Shogren Rest Home in Alexandria.

Inga Peterson was born on Feb 16, 1878, at Lillehammer, Norway.  She attained the age of 76 years, 5 months and 12 days at the time of her death.  She immigrated with her parents to America in 1881, settling at Holmes City.  She has lived in that vicinity since that time.  She was baptized in Norway and confirmed at the Trysil Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one brother-in-law, Martin Johnson, and three cousins, Edward Peterson of Alexandria, Mrs Augusta McCan of Minneapolis, and Mrs Tilda Grotte of Minneapolis.  Her parents, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
