Rites at Holmes City for Mrs. Alma Johnson
Mrs. Alma Johnson was born in Douglas County Sept. 12, 1884 to Andrew and Lizza Mattson. She was a lifetime member of Trysil Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Johnson made her home in the Lowry and Holmes City community all her life.
She was united in marriage to Oscar Johnson, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Johnson passed away at Alexandria Oct. 30, at the age of 84 years.
Surviving are two sons: Arthur of Anoka and Orvin Johnson of Farwell; also surviving are six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held Nov. 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Holmes City with the Rev. R. B. Torgerson officiating.
Interment was at Trysil Cemetery, Holmes City. Pall bearers were Oliver Gulbranson, Ed Berglin, Reuben Wagenius, Allen Olson, Alvin Elington and Louie Larson.
