Isackson

Lannie Isackson was born in Holmes City Township on October 23, 1901,
the son of Isack and Dordi Mauseth Isackson. He was baptized and
confirmed in the Lutheran Faith, attended school and spent his entire
life in Holmes City Township. He was a trustee of the Trysil Lutheran
Church where he was a member for many years. Mr Isackson was a board
member of the Bethesda Trysil Cemetery Association.

On April 10, 1935 he was united in marriage to Evelyn Gulbranson. Mr
and Mrs Isackson continued to farm in Holmes City Township where he
passed away on Friday, August 27, 1976 at the age of 74 years. He was a
member of the First Lutheran Church of Alexandria, Minnesota.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two daughters and two sons:
Eleanor (Mrs Erland Carlson) of Kansas City, Missouri; Doran Isackson of
Storden, Minnesota; Arthur Isackson of Lowry, Minnesota; Marian (Mrs
Ronald Wrolson) of Alexandria. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren,
one sister Marie (Mrs Albert Christenson) of Minot, North Dakota and one
brother, Gerhard Isackson of Minot, North Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Ragna.

Funeral Services were Tuesday, August 31, 1976, 10:30AM at the First
Lutheran Church, Alexandria, Minnesota. Rev Philip Westby and Rev
Ronald Otterson, officiating. Interment in Trysil Lutheran Cemetery,
Holmes City, Minnesota.

Pall Bearers were Gerald Olson, Russell Kvam, Mortin Diment, Rodney
Femrite, Carroll Larson and Ted Swenson.

Mrs Leonard Blade, accompanied by Mrs Melvin Midboe sang “Nearer Still
Nearer” and “Jesus Saviour Pilot Me”.
