Mrs. (Ollegard) Germun Hanson

On Sunday morning, October 18, Mrs. Germun Hanson passed away after a long illness. It is several years since Mrs. Hanson felt that there was something wrong but it was not until August 7th when she underwent an operation, that it was learned that she had cancer of the liver.

Mrs. Hanson was born in Trysil, Norway, December 7, 1862. She came to this country together with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Soberg, in 1882.

On June 3rd, 1884, she was married to Germun Hanson. Their union was blessed with eight children of whom all are living to mourn the departure of their beloved mother.

Funeral services were held at Trysil church, October 20th, the Rev. S.J. Linseth officiating. Speeches were also made by the former pastor, Rev. B.A. Benson, and Mr. John Aasen.

Mrs. Hanson was an active workere in the church and the Ladies Aid. Her departure will therefore be felt by many of her co-workers. May God, who has seen fit to remove her from our midst, add balsam to the wounded hearts of the bereaved.
