Mattson-Eiben
On Wednesday, November 27 (1918) at the Norwegian Lutheran parsonage at Alexandria occurred the marriage of Miss Lena Marie Mattson and Eibo P. Eiben. The bride’s gown was of blue satin over-draped in blue velvet in the late fringed panell effect. She wore a veil and carried bride’s roses. The bride is well known, being one of the late Mrs. Ammund Mattson’s well accomplished daughters, having lived in Douglas county all her life.

The groom was one of Farwell’s thrifty business men being engaged in draying and livery at that place. After the ceremony the couple drove out to the home of the bride where a bountiful wedding dinner was served by the sisters of the bride. They will be at home after December 15, on the Mattson farm, which has been rented by the groom.
