Funeral Services for Harry W. Bonga Held October 30th

Funeral services for Harry W. Bonga were held Monday, Oct 30, 1961 from the Engstrom Maetzold Funeral Home. Rev. Earl E. Dreyer officiated. Mrs. Harold Bradley sang “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “Beyond the Sunset”, accompanied by Mrs. Otto Knarreborg.

Casket bearers were Elon Hanson, Dave Nelson, Richard Nelson, Ray Pearson, Dell Shippey and Simon Wicklund. Interment was in the Trysil Lutheran church cemetery.

Harry W. Bonga was born at Red Lake, Minn., Sept 10, 1902. He served in the United States armed forces from Aug. 8, 1942 and was discharged at Camp Pindale, Calif., March 19, 1943.

Harry W. Bonga passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, at the age of 59 years, 1 month and 16 days.
